The Doctor of 心理学 (小组.D.) program is accredited by the American 小组chological
协会(APA) *, and is designed to provide training in the professional applications of clinical psychology. The primary objective of the program is to equip graduates for the skilled delivery of clinical services. The emphasis in the program is on individualized clinical supervision, combined with broad practical experience and research training oriented toward clinical applications. The program is intended to train professional psychologists who will have a firm grounding in the foundations of psychology, including knowledge of normal and abnormal processes of thought, 情感, and behavior; the ability to evaluate critically their own and others’ clinical and programmatic interventions; and the ability to implement assessment and treatment techniques to meet a wide variety of mental health service needs. The deadline for receipt of completed applications to the 小组.D. program is December 1 for Fall admission. If you wish to receive full consideration of your application, all materials (including GRE scores) must be received by the December 1 deadline. (see link to ‘申请程序’ on our web site).
The Master’s 程序 in Experimental 心理学 (M.A./M.S.) is a research-oriented general program and is especially suitable for students planning to pursue a Ph.D. in psychology or those seeking an advanced degree in a related discipline. It may be useful for students seeking employment in a variety of settings. Application to the Experimental 心理学 program must be received by February 15 for Fall admission. For full consideration of your application, submit all materials (including GRE scores) by the February 15 deadline.
